Kale, Pineapple and Coconut Oil Smoothie
This summer we are all about delicious green smoothies that are densely packed with healthy nutrients and are super quick and easy to make. Try out this delectable recipe featuring Kale, one of our favorite iron-rich greens, as well as Coconut Oil, which offers an array of remarkable health benefits.
- 2 cups of fresh kale (organic if possible)
- 2 cups pineapple
- 2 cups water
- 1 ripe banana
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
1. Blend the kale, water and coconut oil until you get a smooth consistency
2. Add in the remaining ingredients and blitz again – voila!
Hint: For a nice and cold green summer smoothie, use frozen fruit!
